Alzheimer’s disease symptoms more subtle in people over 80
| Posted by in UncategorizedA new study recently published in Neurology®, the medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology, reveals that brain atrophy and cognitive changes associated with Alzheimer’s disease progress at differing rates, dependent on the age of the patient. Tests show the progression of the disease seems to be less noticeable in patients over the age of 80 when compared to younger patients between the ages of 69-75.
